WHAT IS WAXING?
We use a variety of wax types, including non-strip wax that is made
just for faces. It goes on cooler, comes off easier, and does not stick
to the skin. This will eliminate much of the irritation. We also uses
a Roll-on waxing system for easy application and its user friendliness.
If you are using RetinA you should not wax the area being treated.
If you are using Accutane, please consult with your physician before you consider waxing. These products thin the skin which can cause skin to be removed with the wax. Threading is an excellent hair removal technique that you can use regardless of any
medications you might be taking.

WHAT IS THREADING?
THREADING has been used to remove unwanted facial hair since ancient times. It is a common method used in India, Pakistan and the Middle East. When properly done, it can be used to shape the eyebrows with a clean defining edge. It can be used to remove hair from the upper and lower lip as well as other areas of the face.

The procedure utilizes a length of thread which is twisted back and forth along the hairs which are to be removed. The twisting action of the thread traps the hair and lifts it out of the follicle. This method of hair removal is more effective and less painful than tweezing. Hair re-growth becomes finer and more sparse after regular treatments.

With this unique method, hair is removed by the roots, in manner similar to waxing. In distinction to waxing, the top layers of skin are not peeled or traumatized in the process. The result ...a safe, simple, rapid, and highly effective method of hair removal. Because there is minimal chance of irritation, it is very well suited for the sensitive face and upper lip.

Threading is an excellent option for those guests who cannot wax - such as those who are using Retin-A, Accutane, Renova, etc.
